My name is Rob Way and when I’m not teaching, I fancy myself a photographer. I began snapping photos as a teenager in the 1980s with my mom’s basic 110 film camera.
In the early 1990s, while working on a print-journalism diploma, I purchased my first “real” camera; a Pentax K1000. These days, I employ a Nikon D90 as my main photographic tool with a Canon Powershot SX20 IS as my more-than-capable backup.
All technological details aside however, it’s still the thrill of the capture that drives me. Every actuation of the shutter produces a moment of anticipation quite unlike anything else in life. If you are a photographer yourself, you know what I mean. If not, I encourage you to find out!
